The dwarf evergreen grows slowly into a rounded shrub with dense branches. It will develop into a dramatic broad pyramid with age. The needles are dark green on the top, and silver-blue underneath.  An excellent low-maintenance shrub providing winter interest.

Typically a low-maintenance plant, this slow tight-growing dwarf spruce can be lightly pruned to the desired shape. As it ages, growth rate increases.
