Bright golden-yellow foliage throughout the summer turns a pale coppery-yellow colour in the winter. This dwarf, dense, evergreen shrub has an open, rounded to oval shape and is good for foundation or group plantings or as a golden accent.  

Golden Globe cedars benefit from light pruning to obtain a more compact shape. Damage or stem breakage may occur in the winter from ice and snow accumulation. This cultivar may be susceptible to windburn in the winter months if placed in the open. Protection from drying winter winds is recommended in an exposed location.
