Lilac with single flowrs that have purple petals edged with white in May.  Dark green leaves turn burgundy or bronze in the Fall.  Upright, oval habit.

Plant syringa in a well-drained soil with medium moisture, in full sun. To ensure blooms for the following year, any necessary pruning should be done soon after flowering.
