Narrow crown with dense, ascending branches.  Medium green leaves in the Summer which turn golden-orange in the Fall.  The narrow growth habit makes it ideal as a street tree.

Armstrong Gold maple grows best in full sun and requires an acidic soil that is medium to wet, with good drainage. It has greater foliage density, and a more compact, less leggy growth habit in comparison to the parent 'Armstrong' Maple.
