Join us for "Spring into Summer" on April 27th, 2024:  9 am - 4 pm

In collaboration with Russell Ladies Night, we invite you to join us to help raise funds for a very worthy cause - Naomi's House.  As a proud sponsor, we are excited to once again be working with this phenomenal group who strive to bring awareness to various causes which matter to women in our community.  Over the course of 18 years, Russell Ladies Night has raised over $450,000.00 for worthy causes.

The recipient of this year's fundraising efforts is Naomi's Family Resource Centre (Naomi's House), which is a women led, women serving agency that provides emergency shelter for rural women who are fleeing intimate partner violence.  

For the past few years, Beyond the House has held an event at the end of April to start off the fundraising event and to launch the garden centre season!
Join us for a fun filled day with information seminars on vegetable gardening , seasonal containers and tree planting.  There will be a variety of local vendors on site, hot coffee in the morning, a BBQ for lunch🌭, kids activity and free draws for a hammock, a tree, a bird house and for 2 tickets for the Sold Out Ladies Night event!!!
Oh, and there may be a few plants too. 😉🌳🌻

Here is a look at the day's schedule of events:

  • 10:00 am - Summer Container demo (with Cindy Cluett @ Beyond the House)
  • 11:00 am - Vegetable Gardening demo (with Rebecca Boyer @ West Coast Seeds)
  • 1:00 pm - How to plant a tree demo (with Cindy)
  • 2:00 pm - Summer Container demo (with Cindy)
  • 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm - Kids Activity - Making Seed Bombs (with Rebecca Boyer @ West Coast Seeds)  Rebecca will be managing the kids table during this time period

*For those attending the summer container demos, you will be invited to put your name in a special draw for the containers that Cindy makes.  Names will be drawn at the end of the demos and you will leave that day with a completed container.  Note:  You must be present to win.
