Pale pink to white flowers open in spring and are followed by very large-sized fruit that ripen from September to October.

Fruit can sometimes be more than 450g, have pale yellow skin, covered in a dull red.  They have mild flavour with soft, tender flesh that keeps its shape during cooking.  And excellent cooking apple.

Apple trees need another apple cultivar or crabapple in the neighbourhood for pollination and subsequent fruit production.
