Pruning Class

Join us and learn the basics of pruning.  Pruning can be a daunting task but it is vital for the well being of our gardens.
Topics of discussion - when to prune, why prune, how to prune and of course the best tools for the job.
Demonstrations will take place so you can actually see how this is done on live (branches, etc) subjects!
The class will be offered by Cindy Cluett, owner of Beyond the House, who has over 20 years of experience as a horticulturist and landscape designer.  Cindy is our "Pruning Queen" and gets great satisfaction after cleaning up a tree or shrub in need!
In addition, we will be having a representative from Felco tools on site to answer all of your questions!

Date:  Saturday April 5, 2025    10:00 am - noon or
           Saturday April 12, 2024  10:00 am - noon

Cost:  $20.00 + HST

Payment is required in advance, at time of registration.

This will be an in-person class, taking place in our heated greenhouse.  Weather & time permitting, you will be going outside so please bring proper clothing and footwear.

NOTE:  Unfortunately, classes are non-refundable but if you can't make it, you can send a friend in your place or use the equivalent store credit for a future class or store merchandise - as long as we are given one week's notice.
Please note that if cancellation is made with less than one week notice, no credit will be given.
