Redstone Cornelian Cherry is a selected cultivar of the species for its abundant flower production, adaptability, disease/pest resistance, longevity and heavy fruit production. It is a large, multi-season interest shrub that shows off yellow flowers in the spring (March-April), red fruit in summer, vibrant red leaves in the fall and exfoliating bark in the winter. Songbirds, upland and game birds and butterflies are attracted to this shrub which makes it a great shrub for wildlife and pollinators. Also is a great screen/hedge and specimen plant.
