Very interesting dwarf conifer with recurved green needles exposing the white underside.  Form is narrow and conical.  Thrives in full to part sun.  Cones are produced in large quantities and are upright and blue-green to purple.  Denser and more compact habit than Abies koreana 'Horstmann's Silberlocke'.

Best grown in sandy soils in a sheltered location but note that it is intolerant of urban pollution. Notable for its showy colour and texture in the garden.
