'Festival' produces large, bright-red sweet berries. They are excellent for fresh eating and typically fruit both in the summer and fall.

Raspberries require at least 6 hours of sun and well drained soil.  They are happiest in a nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil, but will still produce in poorer soils.  Raspberries are self-fertile so you do not need two varieties for cross-pollination. 

We strongly recommend amending the planting area with Fafard Acid Loving Plant and Berry Soil Mix or compost.
