This dense, rounded to oval tree has sweetly fragrant single pale pink flowers in mid to late spring.  Small glossy dark green leaves throught the summer.  An excellent choice for small spaces.

Plant syringa in a well-drained soil with medium moisture, in full sun. To ensure blooms for the following year, prune soon after flowering.
