This evergreen is the brightest of the yellow pines.  Wolting's Gold turns a beautiful yellow in the colder winter months, reverting to bright green throughout the rest of the year.  The tips of the needles are a distinct golden-yellow in colour but are greenish in colour closer to the stem.  It has a dense pyramidal habit.

Woltings Gold Scots Pine grows best in full sun and a protected location, free from winter winds. Soil should be moist and well-drained.
