One of the season's earliest flowering trees.  Lightly fragrant, pendulous clusters of white flowers appear before the leaves.  Glossy leaves emerge bronzish-purple then mature to dark green in the summer.  The Fall colour is an outstanding red. Edible, red berries ripen to dark purplish-black in June.  

Princess Diana Serviceberry tends to sucker less than other serviceberries.

'Princess Diana' serviceberry tolerates a wide range of soils and conditions. It can be grown as a specimen tree or a multi-stemmed shrub.
