This narrow evergreen is conical in shape with pendulous, stiffly held, weeping branches. The central leader remains upright and does not need staking.  Needles are dark green on the topside, silver-blue underneath. An interesting and unique specimen in any landscape.

Weeping Serbian spruce grows best in moist, well-drained soil, however, it will also tolerate alkaline soil conditions.
