Native tree or large shrub. Flat-topped clusters of creamy-white flowers in the Spring. Bluish-black fruit in the Fall which is very attractive to birds. Glossy green leaves turn a beautiful reddish-purple in the Fall. Upright when young, broadening with age.
Viburnum lentago can be grown as a tree form or as a multi-stemmed clump. Viburnum is best grown in a medium, well-drained soil. Any necessary pruning should be done soon after flowering to ensure next year's bud set.
