Dwarf deciduous conifer, this Larch has an irregular globose shape. Soft bluish-green needles in summer, turning yellow in the Fall before they drop. Slow growing with attractive branching habit.
Best grown in average to moist, well-drained soils in full sun. Does not tolerate water-logged soils. This low-maintenance plant needs no pruning, it can easily be kept smaller in size with yearly, light pruning, typically done in the winter.
This cultivar originated as a witch's broom introduced to the nursery trade in 1982 at Jan-Dieter zu Jeddeloh Nursery, Edewecht, Germany.
