'Patriot' is one of the most popular varieties of blueberries.  It produces very large, slightly flattened, dark blue, sweet fruit mid-July. Ovate, dark green leaves (to 3.5” long) turn attractive shades of yellow and orange in fall.

Ripens mid to late season.

There are no serious insect or disease problems.
 
Blueberry plants grow best in a well-drained, acidic, moist, soil. Fruit size and production is improved when two or more cultivars are planted together. After fruiting, prune out any branches more than 4 years old, to ensure subsequent fruit production.
