This large evergreen is broad, upright-pyramidal in youth, becoming more rounded and flat-topped with maturity.  Stiff, dark-green, 12cm long needles are in bundles of 2.  Good as a specimen or as a screent.  Salt tolerant.

Pinching the candles in mid-spring will encourage a more compact form. An excellent evergreen for large lawns, parks or woodland areas.
