This fast growing tree has an upright, oval to rounded form with dark green leaves in the summer that turn yellow in the fall.  Salmon-pink to reddish-brown bark exfoliates to reveal a creamy-white bark.

One of the most disease and insect-free birches. Use as a specimen or in small groupings in any landscape, and in particular for wet soils along ponds, streams or in low spots.
