Fast growing Maple with a narrow crown and branches growing almost vertical.  Green leaves in the summer resemble those of is Red Maple parent.  Fall foliage is yellow to orange.  A good tree for providing a vertical accent.

The minimal width of Armstrong maple makes it suitable for landscapes with limited horizontal space, i.e a planting site close to a building, or narrow planting strips.
