Nova is a summer bearing variety with almost thornless canes and produces bright red medium sized berries with a nice but tart flavour. Fruit are great for fresh eating as well as for homemade jam and preserves.

Raspberries require at least 6 hours of sun and well drained soil.  They are happiest in a nutrient-rich, slightly acidic soil, but will still produce in poorer soils.  Raspberries are self-fertile so you do not need two varieties for cross-pollination.
